In a post on Friday, Davido said he will enjoy and not ‘kill himself’ in 2019. the 26-year-old artist says he has been making a lot of money and yet not having enough time for himself. He plans to enjoy and do away with the stress of making too much money but not being able to enjoy his life.
This comes after his latest music video release to close the year 2018, “Wonder Woman” which celebrates many accomplished Nigerian entrepreneurs. The official video of the song has so far received 1,210,934 views by the time of this writing just two days after it was published on YouTube.

In the video, he pays tribute to an accomplished Nigerian woman who makes cameo appearances. The likes of Adetutu (Face Model), Hauwa Ojeifo (Founder of She Writes Woman), Bella Naija Founder, Uche Pedro, Omawumi (Singer & Songwriter), his baby mamas Amanda (CEO LaBelleLash) and Sophia (Entrepreneur) and ends with his girlfriend, Chioma (Founder of Chef Chi Ltd).
It should also be noted that Davido’s “Fall” music video (98 million views) same day December 7, 2018, broke the YouTube record as the most viewed Nigerian music video, beating Yemi Alade ‘s “Johnny” (97 million views) that was released four years ago.
In other news, the Nigerian star made it known that his one-year orientation exercise was cancelled by the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC. The singer revealed in August this year on Instagram that he will be taking part in the service program.
His presence during the registration exercise caused an uproar in the NYSC Lagos camp. This came after Adesegun Adebayo, a Nigerian music promoter posted a letter of recommendation showing he has finished the NYSC three-week orientation program. Davido wrote, “Nah so dem cancel my own.” However, the reasons for Davido’s NYSC program cancellation is yet to be released.
