What you first see when you look at a person is their physical appearance. While nobody hates looking at something or someone that is beautiful, when it comes to dating and relationships, beauty is just the icing on the cake. What really matters is the personality and the value that person adds to your existence. In this excerpt, I will tell you why you should date an Ethiopian woman.

To describe what they are like, I will tell you about one ancient woman who was extremely important to many cultures; Negeste Saba (Queen of Sheba) or Makeda (which means greatness in the Ethiopian language). She is a great, prominent and mysterious woman who has appeared on the Christian Bible, Islamic Qur’an, and the foundational narrative of all Ethiopia. Sadly, historians have not had luck discovering much about her but from the facts that are known, I will provide the relevant ones.

To say a little about her reign as a queen, she ruled without a king and was intelligent and clever that she appears in the aforementioned religious texts as a potential equal to Solomon, the King of Israel who is known as the wisest figure in Jewish history.

It is believed that she heard about King Solomon’s fame and went to test him. When she arrived, she saw that his influence and generosity exceeded hers. She challenged him with difficult problems and realized that he was indeed as wise as his people claimed he was. As a result, she offers praise to his God for his blessing upon King Solomon and grants the king lavish gifts of the riches.

Coming to why most of you are here, I will start describing her personalities and link them with the behaviours of most Ethiopian women. The Queen of Sheba was strong in a uniquely feminine way and was cultured in dealing with other kingdoms. This can be seen from her major trading successes with her neighbouring partners. She was well disciplined and was not prone to rash behaviour.

The queen was always readily looking for wisdom and blessings. She was a woman of faith who offered praise and honour to what or who she believed in. She was confident in her own abilities in the most humble way. You have understood by now that Ethiopian women are strong women who seek after wisdom and intelligence without letting pride hinder them from doing so. They are confident, humble, faithful, generous and of course, the icing on the cake; Ethiopian women are beautiful!
